The Des Moines Register did a poll recently where 54% of the respondents said education in Iowa has "gotten off on the wrong track." The results were published in Saturday's Register.

"The wrong track" could mean any number of things. A quote in the article referred to the large focus placed on test scores today.Test scores weren't the first thing that popped into my head. The huge discrepancy in how our schools are funded did, however.
