Mike Blouin came to Ames for the first time in over twenty-four hours to officially announce his running mate and do a meet and greet. He's still the best speaker of all the candidates, by far. The first two times I saw him (Story Dems Swing Fling and Jefferson Jackson Dinner) he was unimpressive on the stump, but since then he's been so consistently good both on and off that it almost doesn't even seem worth pointing out anymore.
