Here's a rundown of the races for Iowa Senate, based on my fairly limited knowledge. I'v bolded the interesting ones. All the district links are to jpeg maps.

- 1st District - Steve Warnstadt (D) won by 28 points in 2002. He should coast to reelection.

- 3rd District - David Johnson (R) doesn't have an opponent.

- 5th District - Rich Olive (D) is challenging Stu Iverson (R). Iverson has been a pretty crappy leader for the Republicans. I had the pleasure of meeting Rich Olive last night, and I think he could surprise some people. Iverson won this race in 2002 against Kevin Miskell, who was a pretty credible challenger too. He won that one by 15 points.
