Legislators made a mistake with TouchPlay machines. They also had the strength of character to admit it, then correct their mistake for legalizing TouchPlay machines. Both the Iowa House and the Iowa Senate have passed this ban, with the bill sent to the Governor to be possibly signed into law. Now the Des Moines Register Editorial Board publishes it's objection to the ban and whines about business that will lose money that invested in the deal. GeeWhiz, there seems to be no concern about all the TouchPlay machine users who have lost money. It appears those who play are called gamblers and those who offer it our called businessmen that should be guaranteed profit. Such is a belief that busineses shoud not have to take risks at the expense of those who do. We are supposed to ignore gambling is a system where the odds are fixed for the gamblers.
