Yesterday, Brian Kennedy called out his opponent Bill Dix about supporting
the Iowa Dream Act in 2004. The bill passed the Iowa House 99-0, but died
in the State Senate.

Basically the bill would have allowed ILLEGAL immigrants instate tuition
if they lived in Iowa for three years before they graduated from high
school. (Nationally they estimate that there are 50,000 to 65,000 students
that would fall under this category.)

Now, I'm not here to defend Bill's vote, as I've said before if you do
something stupid, I'll call you out on it. This vote and along with his
support of the Iowa Values fund are votes that I wish he had voted
differently on. His campaign has said his support of the bill was a
"mistake". At least he realizes it.
