Today I announce that I will be launching a Porkapalooza Tour 2006. I will personally tour and blog from a state that has benefited incredibly from Congressman Jim Nussle's leadership of the House Budget Committee. That state is, of course, not Iowa -- its Alaska. According to the conservative group Citizens Against Government Waste (CAGW), Alaska by far received the most amount of pork: $325 million for pork projects last fiscal year. That figure roughly equals a whopping $490 per man, woman, and child living in Alaska.
