The much discussed 3rd Congressional District race has officially started with Jeff Lamberti going up on TV. I have been impressed with the fundraising numbers he has been putting up and it's a good sign to see him up on TV right now. I think it can only benefit him to have people begin to get to know him before Labor Day. This also provides him an opportunity to build the case for Jeff Lamberti before his builds his case against Leonard Boswell. Definitely the most important part of this ad is building up his positives and his name ID. Now is a great time to do it. I wonder if the DCCC wouldn't like to be running some ads against Lamberti right now? Instead he gets to go up without any competition on the airwaves and drive up his positive name ID.
