WATCH/LISTEN: Brennan cites will of voters in backing Obama

Iowa Democratic Party Chairman Scott Brennan today announced he would give his superdelegate vote to Illinois Sen. Barack Obama because of the backing Obama has received from a majority of Iowa Democrats.

"Today I am proud to stand with a majority of Iowa Democrats," Brennan said during a morning press conference at IDP headquarters.

In the ad, McCain says he's shown leadership on health care and the gas tax "while Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama argue and fight with each other."

WATCH: Miller-Meeks campaign launches biographical ad

Republican congressional candidate Mariannette Miller-Meeks announced today her campaign has released its first advertisement, titled “Roles.” The advertisement began running across the 2nd Congressional District this morning.

The biographical ad discusses Miller-Meeks' background as a doctor, veteran and professor and says she's "ready to tackle tax reform, save Social Security and offer real health care solutions."
